THE JOURNEY

Begin in Oamaru, where pale limestone buildings, the Victorian Precinct, the harbour and elevated viewpoints tell the story of this distinctive coastal town. Then follow the Pacific south to the Moeraki Boulders, with time to walk the beach and take in their extraordinary forms at the water’s edge. Continue toward Kātiki Point Lighthouse, where the headland opens to sweeping coastal views and, when conditions allow, glimpses of local wildlife. The order and length of each stop can move with the weather, tides and light, leaving space to slow down when the coast is at its best.
